What’s in it for me?

How about a whole bunch of cool, funny, and entertaining web shows you’ve probably never heard of before?

Don’t you get a lot of people from the That Guy With The Glasses forum? Why don’t I just go there?

Sure, you can. This just helps you find some of the best the forum has to offer in an easy-to-navigate format. Plus, there’s other fun stuff TGWTG doesn’t have from around the net.

How do I stay up to date with new entries?

Follow us on Twitter or Facebook.

What’s in it for me?

Does free publicity, networking, and cross-promotion with no work on your part sound appealing? No? Well, I tried.

How do I get picked up on your site?

This is pretty informal. There is no “picking up”. If you make a blip video and we like it, we’ll put it on the site.

How do I qualify?

As long as our staff likes your work and you are not already an Internet-famous money-making video producer, you should be fine.
Your work must also be on blip, and that means you need to follow blip’s guidelines about inappropriate content and copyright and so on.

Where do I send it?

E-mail us a link to your blip videos at staff at notfamous dot org

How do I get listed under “Awesome Stuff”?

Make something extra-amazing. Awesome Stuff gets a little more prominence and attention. But just because your name isn’t there doesn’t mean we don’t love your stuff. After all, it’s here.

I already have a fan base. Is that a problem?

Not at all. As long as you’re not featured on a popular website such as Screw Attack or That Guy With the Glasses, or run your own extremely popular web show like Ask A Ninja, or Red Letter Media, you’re still fine.

I just got picked up by a popular website. Do you have to take my videos down?

Congratulations. And no, not necessarily. We may have to remove you from the Awesome Stuff list, but all your existing work will stay. We just won’t feature new videos by you.

I don’t want my work here anymore.

If you want one, some, or all of your videos removed, let us know and we’ll do so. Now and then we tend to regret some of our creative choices, so it’s understandable that you might have one you no longer feel happy with (even if everyone else seems to like it). If you really want us to can all your stuff, I hope it’s not because you’ve given up on it, or because of something we did, but it’s your decision. Good luck.

Can I get blacklisted?

Yes, but this is unlikely unless you’re really going out of your way to cause problems. This site isn’t meant to get tied up in rules and regulations, so there’s no specific criteria. Let’s just leave it at common sense, okay? We’re reasonable people.
